Do you use the statistical language R? If so there is a new university wide user group for those interested in learning and applying statistics in the program R.
The user group was initially launched in the former Faculty of Life Science but has now opened up university wide. It is led by Marco Smolla and Jamie Soul from the School of Biological Sciences and they invite R users of all abilities to join. There will be monthly meetings where a wide variety of topics on R will be presented/discussed. To stay updated subscribe to the RGroup mailing list.
