Are you a user of the national HPC service ARCHER? If so you may have seen their announcement about a significant break in service provision to allow for the installation of their new system – ARCHER2.
The HPC service could be down for up to 11 weeks in the period February to May 2020 (dates to be confirmed) and we are asking all researchers to be prepared.
Have you made appropriate plans for this break in service to ensure your research is not affected? Will the unavailability of ARCHER be a significant issue for you? If so then please get in touch with us to discuss possible alternative resources for your work as we may be able to offer advice.
